TinkerTank Kick-Off Sept. 13th

Sept. 13th we will have the first in a series of open meetings at metalab, Vienna, Austria.

The idea behind having open workshops to tinker on cocktailrobots in the run-up to ROBOEXOTICA (dec. 5th-9th) is to cater to our audience's desire to see the machines in the making.
As some of the robots shown over the years have been works in progress, we had the chance to learn, that inoperative devices are just as interesting, if there's a human trying to get it to run - actually, builder-audience interaction is what makes a large part of ROBOEXOTICA's special appeal.

While it's not to be expected that all the well-known cocktailrobots will turn up on Sept. 13th (some are showing in Berlin end of Sept.), projects to be brought up at the first sitting might be Gaston, who's glass-sensor might be improved on, or Tenderelle, the Cocktail-SMS-Bot.

Hopeful future-participants are as welcome as mere on-lookers!

Address: metalab, Rathausstr. 6, 1010 Vienna.
Opening 5p.m.
